Days 1-2 were mostly for making graphics and programming core gameplay. Since this was an entry to GBJAM, I had to make the control scheme of a gameboy, and I could only use four colors. To work around the four colors, I used an asset called GBCamera, which automatically took a random 4-color palette and applied it to the scene. I then made a variety of textures, such as bricks, tiles, and spikes. After that, I made basic player and enemy logic. I then implemented combat, health, death and game over, and created the first level. I also managed to add two more levels before the end of the second day.
